Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before November 1, 2021. Filings must be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by November 1, 2021. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2021-3027886. ALC Worldwide Car Service, Inc. (1110 Spring Lane, Easton, PA 18040) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery and Northampton, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2021-3028808. Jennifer A. Rutherford, t/a Lewistown Taxi Service (821 Electric Avenue, Suite D, Lewistown, Mifflin County, PA 17044) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in call or demand service, between points in the Borough of Lewistown, Mifflin County, PA.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2021-3028779. Joseph S. Hottenstein and Joyce A. Hottenstein, t/a Hospitality Travel (236 Locust Grove Road, Bainbridge, Lancaster County, PA 17502) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, as a broker, to arrange for the transportation of persons between points in Pennsylvania.

A-2021-3028782. Bigg Dogg, Inc., t/a Your Designated Driver (43 Ellwood Court, Coraopolis, Allegheny County, PA 15108) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00121469, authorizing the transportation of persons, in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, between points in the Counties of Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland and from points in the County of Allegheny and said counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2021-3028876. Ace Transit Management, LLC (580 Buckstone Drive, Southampton, PA 18966) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in limousine service, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh and Montgomery, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
