Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before August 1, 2022. Filings are recommended to be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by August 1, 2022. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2022-3032663. We Care Transportation Services, LLC (7401 Old York Road, Elkins Park, Montgomery County, PA 19027) to transport, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit services, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia and the Counties of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Schuylkill and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3033143. William Spinapont (153 Craig Road, Airville, York County, PA 17302) to transport persons, by motor vehicle, in paratransit service, whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the Counties of Lancaster and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3033160. J. Clyde Smith, III, t/a JC Smith Travel (5263 Spring Road, Shermans Dale, Perry County, PA 17090) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in airport transfer service, from points in the Counties of Cumberland and Perry to all airports in Pennsylvania, and vice versa.

A-2022-3033183. Jennifer Lee Kaufman (385 Bottom Road, Blain, Perry County, PA 17006) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Perry, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3033351. Kenneth Joseph Strauch, t/a The Limo Guy of Northeast Pennsylvania (121 Hemlock Drive, Clarks Summit, Lackawanna County, PA, 18411) persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2022-3033541. Justin J. Jalbert, t/a Skookie Rides Referral Service (265 Wallace Street, Pottsville Summit, Schuylkill County, PA 17901) persons in paratransit service, from points in Schuylkill County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2022-3033363. Leon L. and Linda J. Fuller (905 Miller Road, Muncy, Lycoming County, PA 17756) for the discontinuance and cancellation of the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lewis Township, Northumberland County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, as originally docketed at A-2016-2563259.

A-2022-3033397. Melvin Cisney (181 Church Avenue, Apartment A, Ephrata, Lancaster County, PA 17522) for the discontinuance and cancellation of the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owing or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County to points in Pennsylvania, and return, as originally docketed at A-2021-3024036.

A-2022-3033540. Ramtin, Inc. (9007 Ayrdale Crescent, Unit B, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19128) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, upon call or demand service, persons and their baggage; and parcels, packages and property, at the same basic metered rates; in the City and County of Philadelphia and that area bounded by a line beginning on the north of the Delaware River at the Philadelphia County line, thence northwardly, westwardly and southwestwardly along the Philadelphia County line to Philmont Avenue, thence southwestwardly along Philmont Avenue, Welsh Road, Valley Road, Washington Lane, Township Line Road to Glenside Avenue (excluding any portion of the Borough of Jenkintown), Easton Road, Church Road and Paper Mill Road to the Philadelphia County line and Blue Bell to Joshua Road, thence southwestwardly along Joshua Road to Cedar Grove Road, thence southeastwardly along Cedar Grove Road and the Schuylkill River joining the Philadelphia County line and continuing to Port Royal Avenue, thence across the Schuylkill River to Mill Creek Road, Montgomery County, thence southwestwardly along Mill Creek Road, Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore Avenue into Delaware County and continuing along Ardmore Avenue, Ellis Road, Lawrence Road and Darby Creek Road to Darby Creek; thence southwardly along Darby Creek to State Road, thence southwardly along State Road, Springfield Avenue, Saxer Avenue, Baltimore Avenue, Woodland Avenue and Kedron Avenue to MacDade Boulevard, thence northeastwardly along MacDade Boulevard to Winona Avenue continuing in a straight line to the Delaware River and thence northwardly along the Delaware River to the place of beginning and persons upon call or demand in the Boroughs of Norwood, Prospect Park, Ridley Park and Rose Valley, the Townships of Ridley, Tinicum, Nether Providence, the Village of Moylan and including Lester and Essington, all in Delaware County; and said areas to points in Pennsylvania, and from points in Pennsylvania to said areas, if the request for such service is received by call to its radio dispatch; limited to the use of one vehicle, as originally docketed at A-00119191.
