Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before January 16, 2023. Filings are recommended to be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by January 16, 2023. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2022-3037085. Delux Limousine Transportation Services, LLC (3614 Decatur Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19136) to transport, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery.

A-2022-3037258. Med Ryde, LLC (100 North 18th Avenue, Unit 300, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19103) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in nonemergency medical paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Erie, Fulton, Lancaster, Luzerne, Montgomery and Northampton.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2022-3036702. Williams Moving & Storage, Inc., t/a Parks-Centre Carriers/Parks (740 Commonwealth Drive, Warrendale, Allegheny County, PA 15086) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, as more thoroughly described in the original ordering paragraphs at A-00119007, F.2 Am-A, F.2, Am-B.

A-2022-3036722. Parks Moving & Storage, Inc., t/a Sam of Pittsburgh (P.O. Box 1878, Cranberry Township, Butler County, PA 16066) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, as more thoroughly described in the original ordering paragraphs at A-00097208.

A-2022-3037219. A Touch Of Elegance Limousine Service, Inc. (53 Collingsdale Avenue, New Castle, DE 19720) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right to transport, persons in limousine service, from the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
