§ 17.53. Staff training requirements.
(a) Each staff member engaged in the school sanitation program shall receive training in areas which relate to the program. The training shall be received as soon as possible after the staff is hired and shall consist of at least the following material:
(1) All aspects of food protection.
(2) Water supply and plumbing.
(3) Waste disposal (liquid and solid).
(4) Lighting standards.
(5) Ventilation and heating.
(7) Insect and rodent control.
(8) Plan review.
(b) It is recommended that each staff member satisfactorily complete a Basic Sanitarians Training Course which would include the material set forth in subsection (a).
