[Saturday, January 21, 2012]The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) by this notice informs the public of the availability of the administrative documents for the Erosion and Sediment Control General Permit for Earth Disturbance Associated with Oil and Gas Exploration, Production, Processing or Treatment Operations or Transmission Facilities (ESCGP-2) for public comment. The public comment period for these documents will be open for 60 days.

Documents can be found on the Department's eLibrary at www.elibrary.dep.state.pa.us, select Permit and Authorization Packages, then Oil and Gas and then Draft General Permits.
Interested persons may submit written comments on this draft permit for a period of 60 days after publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. The Department will accept comments submitted by e-mail, but comments submitted by facsimile will not be accepted. A return name and address must be included in each e-mail transmission.
