Availability of Addendum to Multipathway Risk Assessment Report

Hazardous Waste Combustion Activities at the Keystone Cement Co., Bath, PA

   The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) received the Margin of Incremental Exposure Analysis for Dioxins and Furans for the Keystone Cement Facility, Bath, PA report on November 2, 1998. The report was submitted in response to the Department's request for an analysis of non-cancer health effects of dioxins and furans. The report is an addendum to Keystone's July 1997 multipathway risk assessment report, for which notice was published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin on August 2, 1997.

   The addendum to the risk assessment report and the risk assessment report can be reviewed at the Department's Bethlehem Office, 4530 Bath Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Please call (610) 862-2070 to schedule an appointment.

   Questions or comments on the addendum to the risk assessment report as well as the risk assessment report itself can be directed to Thomas DiLazaro, Air Quality Program Manager, Department of Environmental Protection, Two Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711-0790.
