A-2013-2346371 and A-2013-2346451. Pennsylvania American Water Company and Lancon Water Company, Inc. Joint application of Pennsylvania American Water Company and Lancon Water Company, Inc. for approval of: 1) the transfer, by sale, of the water works property and rights of the Lancon Water Company in a portion of Lancaster Township, Butler County, to Pennsylvania American Water Company; 2) the right of Pennsylvania American Water Company to begin to supply water service to the public in portions of Lancaster Township, Butler County; and 3) the abandonment by Lancon Water Company of all water service to the public of its certificated service area in Lancaster Township, Butler County.

 Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). Filings must be made with the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant, on or before March 4, 2013. The documents filed in support of the application are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, on the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission's web site at www.puc.state.pa.us, and at the applicant's business address.
