Riparian Forest Buffers and Snowmobile/ATV Grant Opportunities

 The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (Department), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation has available grant funding for projects proposing the installation of riparian forest buffers and projects proposing the acquisition, planning, development, rehabilitation or maintenance of snowmobile or ATV trails. Grant funding for these two opportunities will be awarded through a competitive grant application process. Applicants can apply for this funding between October 2, 2017, and December 20, 2017, through the Department's online grant application portal. A brief webinar on both programs will be held and recorded on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Riparian forest buffer information will be shared at 10 a.m. followed by snowmobile/ATV program information at 11 a.m. More information about these grant opportunities and the application process is available at https://www.grants.dcnr.state.pa.us/Dashboard/Grants.
