Service of Default Order

Philadelphia Parking Authority, Taxicab and Limousine Division v. Mimi Trans, Inc.; Doc. No. C-23-06-028

 Attention Mimi Trans, Inc., last known address of 362 Ridge Avenue, # 14J, Cambridge, MA 02140, this notice advises that a Default Order of Hearing Officer, Hon. Sheldon C. Jelin was issued and entered on September 29, 2023, with the Philadelphia Parking Authority's (Authority) Taxicab and Limousine Division's (TLD) Office of the Clerk.

 On June 8, 2023, the Enforcement Department of the TLD of the Authority issued Citation T-31870 to Mimi Trans, Inc. (Respondent) for a violation of 52 Pa. Code § 1011.3, annual filing requirements not met.

 The complaint was served on Respondent on June 8, 2023, by first class mail.

 Respondent did not pay the penalty amount identified on the citation or file a request for a hearing with the TLD Clerk within 15 days after the date of service as provided in 52 Pa. Code § 1005.13(b).

 On July 27, 2023, the TLD Clerk's office sent Respondent a reminder notice of the outstanding citation; to either pay the penalty, request a hearing, or suffer a default.

 To date, more than 15 days have expired and Respondent has failed to pay the penalty or file a request for a hearing with the TLD Clerk. Therefore, pursuant to 52 Pa. Code § 1005.31(c), the complaint is sustained, and a Default Order is entered against Respondent.

 A penalty of $100 is imposed on the citation along with an administration fee of $75 for a total of $175.

 In addition, Respondent's CPC No. 1020939-01 is hereby CANCELLED with respect to medallion P-1169.

 Respondent is ordered to pay $175 by October 14, 2023. Payment shall be made to: The Philadelphia Parking Authority, Taxicab and Limousine Division, Attn: Office of the Clerk, 2415 South Swanson Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148.

 Pursuant to 52 Pa. Code § 1001.13(b), this Order will become effective on October 14, 2023, as an adjudication of the Authority if not selected for review by the Authority.

 Respondent is hereby notified to cease and desist from further violations of the Taxicab and Limousine regulation, 52 Pa. Code, § 1001.1 et seq.
