§ 7.14. Permits for movement from quarantined herds.

 (a)  Reactors shall be kept in quarantine and may not be removed from the premises except on a written permit from the Department or USDA-APHIS.

 (b)  Negative animals in quarantined herds may not be removed from the premises except on a written permit issued by the Department or USDA-APHIS.

 (c)  Exposed animals shall be ‘‘S’’ branded and sent directly to slaughter or to an animal market for slaughter animals and shall be accompanied by a properly completed VS Form 1-27. Animals quarantined in this Commonwealth going directly to slaughter in this Commonwealth are exempted from the branding and VS Form 1-27 requirements.
