22 Pa. Code § 9.24. Broadcasting service areas.

§ 9.24. Broadcasting service areas.

 (a)  A broadcasting service area shall be an area in which engineering ‘‘class A’’ signals (as defined by the Federal Communications Commission) are received and used from one or more broadcasting facilities.

 (b)  Broadcasting service areas shall include the following:

   (1)  WHYY-TV, Philadelphia: School districts within the counties of Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks.

   (2)  WQED-TV and WQEX-TV, Pittsburgh: School districts within the counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Westmoreland, Washington, Greene, Fayette, Armstrong, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Clarion, and Jefferson.

   (3)  WITF-TV, Harrisburg: School districts within the counties of Dauphin, Cumberland, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Adams, Franklin, and Juniata.

   (4)  WPSX-TV, Clearfield: School districts within the counties of Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Mifflin, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Cambria, Blair, Bedford, Fulton, Somerset and Huntingdon.

   (5)  WLVT-TV, Allentown: School districts within the counties of Northampton, Lehigh, Berks, Carbon, Monroe and Pike.

   (6)  WVIA-TV, Wilkes-Barre-Scranton: School districts within the counties of Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Wyoming, Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Union, Lycoming, Sullivan, Bradford, Susquehanna, Schuylkill and Tioga.

   (7)  WQLN-TV, Erie: School districts within the counties of Erie, Warren, Crawford and Forest.
