§ 39.496.  Stringing wires.

 (a)  When stringing wires or cables over or under supply lines, employes shall avoid any possibility of their coming in contact, and shall not string them above live supply lines where it is practicable to avoid it.

 (b)  If liability of contact cannot be entirely avoided, the lines being handled shall be treated as alive, unless they are effectively grounded, and the rules in § §  39.361—39.371 so far as they are applicable, shall be carefully observed.
