§ 601.11. Hitchhiking.

 The solicitation for a ride, commonly known as ‘‘hitchhiking,’’ is prohibited, and stopping or allowing a vehicle to be standing while hitchhikers board is also prohibited.


   The provisions of this §  601.11 adopted August 5, 1977, effective August 6, 1977, 7 Pa.B. 2196; amended January 22, 1982, effective January 23, 1982, 12 Pa.B. 396; amended October 29, 1992, effective October 30, 1992, 22 Pa.B. 5321.
